Before leaving for Thanksgiving Break residents had the chance to attend a free event on campus know as “A Hmong Thanksgiving”.  This event was a great cultural experience for the residents and a unique opportunity to learn about a very large but hidden culture in the Midwest.  The event included a 5-course traditional Hmong meal as well as a presentation about the Hmong people and dance performances put on by Hmong Dancers.  Overall, residents, as well as other students and members of the community, were able to enjoy a fun and unique evening while learning about a vastly different culture and people.
