We also had a really fun night last Tuesday – Dr. Amy Nemmetz planned a drunk goggles event where attendees got to ride around on this tricycle thing wearing drunk goggles. We had a lot of fun – thanks to Nathan, Anna H, Nick D, and Grant who attended. I hope this was another great way to get outside and enjoy the spring weather – I certainly enjoyed riding around on those bike-things!
After drunk goggles, Nick and I headed to the crime scene house to play a live game of Clue with some CJ professors. Even though my group lost, we still had a really fun time, and how nice of those professors to take the time out their days to come help out!
Thanks for all of you who have played outdoor volleyball with me over the past couple of weeks. With the weather getting nicer, it’s imperative we get outside to enjoy “neature”!
We played volleyball today, yesterday, Friday, & during the FNC last week. I really enjoyed that glow in the dark volleyball.
Last Monday we had a Painting Diversity event in the MPR hosted by Bryn, Nikki, and yours truly. What a fun event we had! A special shoutout goes to the residents there – Brett, Kalie 2.0, Kaeli 1.0, Ashley, Ariel, Anna, Joleen, and Nathan. I really enjoyed seeing how you all interpreted diversity and what it meant to you, as well as seeing how diverse each of your paintings were.
I have a class this semester called Management, Gender & Race – it’s a really interesting class that goes into diversity a lot and why it is important, especially in a business format. If any of you want to learn more, I encourage you to ask!
Look at me, posting at a normal time of the day! Be proud ☺
I AM SO GOSH DANG FULL!! We went to Texas Road House tonight – thank you to Mikayla, Brett, Austin, and Noah who accompanied me. Even though I almost forgot my salad, we made Alex our waiter take our picture, and they messed up on some orders…we still had a grand old time and good conversations too! I know some of you talked a little bit about this semester vs last; it was good to hear some feedback and just listen to you vent.
Hopefully this event was a good relaxing one before the last three weeks of classes and week of finals coming up. Crazy how time flies, right?!
Hello again, 4-South!
We had a great event tonight – our monthly jeopardy event with CJ professor Grant Patient. A huge shoutout goes to residents Ty, Trey, and Shane for attending and WINNING BIG TIME! 410-310! You go, guys.
Happy Thursday morning to ya – have a great rest of your week!
Hello again 4-South,
Yesterday we had a volleyball tournament in the circle with guest faculty member CJ Professor Grant Patient.
A huge shoutout goes to Nick Drott (and Abby Williams) for coordinating the event and getting Grant involved, and also to the 4-South members who came out to play–Abby Williams and Brij. We had a lot of fun, and in the end, actually WON THE TOURNAMENT! It was a pretty close last few points! #2Timothy4:7
Happy Sunday, 4-South!
We had a very fun time at the Mines of Spain this Saturday for all of those who could come. For those of you that couldn’t, Mines of Spain is a vast hiking trail network in Dubuque with some pretty cool lookouts and exploring opportunities. We certainly had lots of adventures for those who came – Marshall, Travis, Ben, Franni, Kaitlyn, Jake, Marissa, Brij, Noah, Donny, Ty, Nick, and of course, DRK!
Thank you again for coming and enjoying the nice weather! Hopefully an event like this will encourage you to get out and enjoy nature & the environment more often ☺
